Mid-Atlantic miniature Empire or Late Classical chest of drawers, poplar, and white pine, with overall red wash. Consisting of a plain top over a single overhanging shaped dovetailed drawer supported by reeded columns topped by tombstone carved capitals, above three full dovetailed drawers with wood pulls, and resting on double ogee carved square feet. 20" H x 21 1/2" W x 12 1/4" D. Mid-19th century.
Overall good condition with scattered wear and surface abrasions throughout and alligatoring to varnish in some areas.
