Morley Hicks (Ontario/Wisconsin, 1877-1959) oil on board maritime painting titled "Gloucester Docks From Sketch" depicting several boats moored at a dock with figures walking before a group of buildings. Numbered "1163" lower left, signed "Morley Hicks" lower right. Title with artist's name, address and additional inscriptions, en verso of board. Schrager Auction Galleries, Ltd., Milwaukee, WI paper label with ink inscriptions, en verso. Housed in a giltwood frame. Sight: 23 1/2" H x 27 3/4" W. Framed: 28 1/2" H x 32 1/2" W.
