Kathe Kollwitz (German, 1867-1945) crayon lithograph on heavy laid paper entitled "Junge Mutter mit Saugling (Young Mother with Infant)", 1926. The print depicts an intimate scene of a woman, shown in half-length, who cradles a baby as the two figures gaze toward one another. Signed in pencil "Kathe Kollwitz," lower right. With label of Galerie St Etienne, New York, to reverse of frame. Housed under glass in a modern wooden frame with white mat. Sheet: 20" H x 15" W. Frame: 22 1/4" H x 21" W. Ref.: Klipstein 220/Knesebeck 244.
