Southern Federal one drawer stand, walnut with yellow pine secondary wood. Top with line inlaid front and side edges over a single drawer outlined in scratch-beading and string inlay with incurved corners, with a kite inlaid keyhole escutcheon and retaining original brass bail and rosette pulls. Drawer with nail and peg construction. Line inlay at lower edge of skirt extends to each side. Four square tapering legs, each with line inlay that curves at the top of each leg and terminates in two horizontal cuff lines at each foot. 30 3/4" x 24 1/8"W x 19 1/4"D. Possibly Georgia, circa 1810.

Older refinished surface with some inlay repairs and losses. Drawer does not close properly due to one runner that has come loose. Two large shrinkage cracks to top, one running nearly the full width of the table top, along with some staining. Various small abrasions, nicks and other signs of wear. Slight warping to top. Lacking key.
