Large Sterling Strauser (Pennsylvania, 1907-1995) oil on board painting depicting an elderly man and woman seated together on a red high back sofa or settle. Signed and dated "Sterling Strauser, 1941" lower right. Unframed. 36" H x 46" W.
Condition
Wear and losses to perimeter, primarily to the corners. With surface grime especially to center, extending from left edge into man's suit.
