1st item: Persian Malayer rug with wool on cotton foundation, central medallion on patterned ivory ground, overall cobalt blue background with scattered small animal motifs, floral corner fields and floral borders. 78" L x 52"W, Persian, Late 19th/early 20th century. 2nd item: Iranian rug, wool on cotton foundation, a geometric central medallion with salmon ground, cobalt blue outer background with repeating boteh design, geometric floral corner fields and border with other devices. Sewn label verso reads "Made in Iran". 52" L x 31 1/2" W. Iran, Mid-20th century.
Condition
1st item: Even pile wear with low spots down to foundation, scattered wear to selvage and fringe edges, abrash evident. 3" vertical tear at fringe edge. 2nd item: Even light wear throughout. Light wear to fringe edges. Overall good condition.
