William Ralph Watson (Connecticut/Canada, 1881-1968) oil on canvas landscape painting depicting a lake surrounded by trees with autumn foliage, the scene cast in the late afternoon sun. Signed "R.W. Watson" lower right. Suder's Art Store, Cincinnati, OH label with two additional numeral labels en verso. Housed in an Arts & Crafts style carved giltwood frame. Sight: 23 3/4" H x 35 3/4" W. Framed: 30" H x 42" W.

Overall very good condition with light craquelure and surface grime. Stretcher mark across top and left of canvas. Frame with minor abrasions, areas of loss, largest 1/4", to gilt.
