1st-5th items: Five (5) Asian works of art, including one (1) scroll painting depicting a tapered wicker planter with a flowering tree and other foliage, two columns of black character marks and a red seal, lower right, mounted on gold foliate brocade with blue marbled paper backing; one (1) scroll woodblock print with gilt highlights depicting a tiger in a landscape, two black character marks above a dark red seal, lower right, mounted on a green and gilt marbled paper backing with precious objects to border; one (1) scroll woodblock print depicting a young female in a kimono, black characters and seals, across top, center left, and lower left, mounted on cream foliate brocade with a pink foliate paper backing; one (1) Chinese ink drawing depicting two men in a landscape setting, black character marks above two red seals, top left; and one (1) After Utagawa Kunisada, also known as Utagawa Toyokuni II (Japanese, 1823-1880) woodblock triptych titled "Procession and the Sun Rise" depicting a processional scene before a body of water. Ranging in size from 15" H x 19 3/4" W to 56 1/4" H x 23" W. 6th-10th items: Five (5) Meiji period woodblock prints after Edo various period artists, including one (1) after Utagawa Hiroshige also Ando Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797-1858) from his "One Hundred Views of Edo" series. All items red character seals and black character marks. All mounted to off white paper mats. Prints approximately 9 3/4" H x 14 1/4" W. Mats approximately 15" H x 20 1/4" W. 11th-13th items: Three (3) books, including one (1) titled JAPANESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS: THEIR TECHNIQUES AND APPRECIATION by Umetaro Azechi, published by Toto Shuppan Company, Ltd. Tokyo, and Japan Publications Trading Company, Ltd., Rutland, 1963; one (1) titled JAPANESE PRINTS by Louis V. Ledoux, from the Enjoy Your Museum series, edited by Carl Thurston, published by the Esto Publishing Company, Pasadena, 1936; and one (1) titled PROCESS OF WOOD-BLOCK PRINTING, published by Nishinomiya and Hasegawa, Inc., Tokyo, ca. 1940. Ranging in size from 6 1/8" H x 4 1/8" W x 1/2" D to 12" H x 8 1/2" W x 5/8" D. All items late 19th/mid 20th century.

Condition

All items in overall good condition with toning, foxing spots, creases, minor tears, and general handling wear to be expected. Top hanging bar to floral still life or potted plant scroll painting is detached from reset of scroll.
