1st item: An Accurate Map of North America by Thomas Bowen, London, c. 1780, depicting North America, the Caribbean, and parts of South America "including the discoveries of Capt. Cook." With place names, bodies of water, mountain ranges, and other areas of interest including the locations of Native American tribes and natural resources plus "Parts Unknown." Unframed. Sheet: 8 1/8" H x 10 7/16" W. 2nd item: Map of Canada, or New France, presenting the history up to 1765, by Louis-Etienne Dussieux, from the Atlas General de Geographie Physique, Politique et Histoire, 1851. Depicting parts of Canada and the United States including the Great Lakes, Quebec, and Montreal, plus French settlements around Hudson Bay. Unframed, in green mat. Sheet: 9" H x 13 1/8" W.
Condition
1st item in overall good condition with toning, creasing, and minor foxing. 2nd item in very good condition.
