Includes: 1831 map of Kentucky and Tennessee published in London by Hinton, Simpkin & Marshall (very good condition); 1912 Geological Survey map of Tennessee (booklet form foldout; tears at fold lines); 1928 Geological survey map of Tennessee (fold out, no cover) showing the Proposed Great Smoky Mountains National Park; 2 small TN maps showing the holdings of the Cardiff Coal & Iron Company, undated (losses to left margin); 3 maps from Killebrew's Introduction to the Resources of TN including coal map showing the distance from Kingston to Loudon plus maps of Knoxville and of Jackson; 1882 US Coast and Geodetic Survey map of The Mississippi River (small tears, trimmed); 1888 map of TN for Phelan's School History of Tennessee by E. Butler Co.; 1851 German map of TN; Bradford 1843 hand colored map of KY/TN; 1 small undated geological map of KY/TN; 1890 map of the Lower Cumberland River; reprint of an 1821 map of TN: and 1984 map showing Cumberland Homesteads by William Macy Stanton. Grouping also includes 1 text excerpt from an unknown atlas (shown in first photo, but not a map). Sizes range from 8 1/2" x 11" to 28 1/2" x 24" (unfolded).

Condition

Most items with age related toning, scattered small edge tears/chipping, light fading. See additional condition issues noted in description.
