Rare original Catalogue from the 1913 International Exhibition of Modern Art, also known as The Armory Show. 4 volumes including the original Catalog for the New York 1913 exhibition (Vol. 1, 105 pages plus several pages of advertisements), Supplement (Vol. 2), Boston Catalog (Vol. 3), and 3 individual commentaries for the work of Cezanne and Redon, plus "A Sculptor's Architecture," all bound together (Vol. 4). All published by the Association of American Painters and Sculptors, Inc., 1913. Vol. 1 with custom printed additional page noting "Collection of Peggy and David Steine, Nashville, Tennessee." Each volume approx. 7" x 5" in later custom green leather bindings and gilt lettering, marbleized endpapers and in 2 slipcases.

Note: this is the original catalog for the 1913 exhibit, not a reprint or reissue. It includes a listing of the exhibiting artists and their works, a plan of the exhibition floor, and preface by Frederick James Gregg. Volume 3 contains about 15 black and white photos; the other volumes do not include photos.
