1st item: A Black Forest Mounted Deer Skull Cap and Antlers mounted on a shield carved panel with acorns and oak leaves. Panel: 19 in. H x 15 in. W. Overall: 36 in. H x 26 in. W x 18 in. D. 2nd item: Black Forest Carved Deer or Stag Trophy Panel. 15 in. H x 12 in. W x 8 in. D. Both Bavarian, late 19th to early 20th century.
Condition
1st item: Excellent condition. 2nd item: small losses to antlers, leaf stems at openwork carved sides, and to tip of stag's ear.

The estate of Dr. Michael Spalding, Nashville.
