Presentation copy, warmly inscribed on the ffep (front free end paper) to McCarthy's long-time friends, "For John & Lanelle / With lots of love / Cormac". G/G, Good book in Good Dust Jacket. Stated First Edition on copyright page with correct Random House number line terminating in a "2". Octavo, original boards, off-white & black cloth spine with gilt lettering. Original unclipped price of $12.95. 8 5/8" H x 6" W x 1 5/8" D.
G/G, book slightly loose, fixing to top and fore edges, slight soiling to covers; DJ (dust jacket) is intact with chipping to top of spine, 1/4" tears top corners, general rubbing; protected in archival cover.
