Folio, [xvi], 366 pp. Contemporary full calf, intricate publisher's woodcut title page, as well as numerous smaller woodcut designs and capitals. An early English translation of Commines' (1447-1511) influential work of European life. 11 in. x 7 1/4 in.

Condition

Covers detached, worn with chipping. All pages intact, including endpapers. Some marginal chips and tears, toning. 1694 handwritten note recto title page.
