Jeanne Davies (Pennsylvania/New Jersey, b. 1936) oil on canvas painting titled "18th Century Homestead" depicting a large white house in a neighborhood lined with additional homes featuring figures in the foreground under fall foliage. Signed "Davies" lower right. Title and artist name on nameplate, lower center. Housed in a contemporary gilt frame with carved decoration. Sight:19 1/2" H x 23 1/2" W. Framed: 24 1/2" H x 28 1/2" W. Note: Jeanne Davies is known for painting children's portraits, farm and genre scenes, and folk artworks of Amish everyday life.
