Kentucky Sheraton cherry press, two-part construction, poplar and walnut secondary. Upper section with a cove molded cornice over two six-pane glass doors set into a base with two shelves. Lower section with two overhanging dovetailed drawers fitted with round brass pulls and cockbeading, above two paneled doors opening to reveal one interior shelf, flanked by fully turned reeded columns, paneled sides and turned reeded feet. 87 1/2" H x 42 1/4" W x 20 1/4" D. Acquired in the Owensboro area, Circa 1835.

Condition
Refinished surface, replaced glass to upper doors, patch below lower right glass pane to left door, patch/repair to upper right door hinge, drawer supports replaced with some build up of drawer sides, patch to mid-front of top base molding and right side of molding and both drawers with circular plugged holes or patches. Top of base with one patch to lower left corner and areas of wood shrinkage.
